    wow!! 97Why are schools still doing NAPLAN?

      An excellent question. I have had Finnish educators ask me why I allowed such young children to do NAPLAN when the teacher is responsible for the children’s wellbeing.

      Australian teachers have lost the autonomy required, most do not understand the damage a test like this can do (I certainly didn’t!) and no priority is placed on creating intrinsic motivation and a love of learning.

      If we do not care about these, why worry about the negatives of NAPLAN?
